"My husband and I stayed at the Surrey Beach House during the first of two big snowstorms in February 2010. We were exhibitors at the Atlantic City Boat Show. We reserved the pet-friendly one-bedroom Boardwalk Suite on the ground floor. It included a small but complete kitchen, snug living room area with sofa, comfortable chair and TV, and a spacious bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath. On Saturday we received about 16" of drifting snow, with howling winds off the ocean. Throughout the day, Rob, our innkeeper, constantly shoveled the walkway to the door to our suite, made arrangements for a sheltered spot in back of the property to walk our small dogs, and even dug out our car completely after the storm. Rob and his wife Marie were wonderful hosts. We cannot thank them enough for their hospitality."

"I came to the Jersey shore for a little time to relax before a major professional transition. First off, I knew coming into it that it's a little over a mile south of Atlantic City. If you're here for the casinos and fun, the bus is an easy ride up or you can take a nice walk along the boardwalk or Ventnor Ave. This is definitely the place, though, if you're interested in relaxing by the beach in a town full of really nice people, good food, and great service.
If that's not enough for you, this place is under new management since this past November. They are probably two of the friendliest people I've ever met and really care about the service they provide their guests. They really add an incredibly personal touch to your stay.
I came on Jan 22, 2010 with the intent to stay for a week, but I enjoyed that week so much (and being that I got a deal through the Travel Advantage Network), I decided to stay a second week. If it weren't for the real world calling me back, I'd probably stay one more week. I'll definitely come back here."

"Marie and Rob were very professional. Marie was so helpful in giving all info I needed, (mapquest, suggested restaurants and spa services). Rob helped in carrying all my luggages. Our room was perfect with a little kitchenette where my husband made breakfast for me in the morning. Rooms very clean, we had everything we need. Excellent location. WE went to see Comedy show at Borgata.. Perfect Weekend Getaway."

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are on the beach block of Surrey Avenue in Ventnor, the town located between Atlantic City and Margate. Surrey is located at the 5400 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Q: What are your deposit and cancellation policies?
A: We take one night's deposit at the time of booking, and cancellations must be made at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival, or the deposit will be forfeited.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept American Express, Discover Card, Master Card, Visa, and Cash.
Q: What time is check-in? Check-out?
A: Check-in hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. Early arrivals and late check-outs may be available, but cannot be guaranteed.
Q: How close are you to the beach, boardwalk and casinos?
A: We are on the beach block, just steps from the beach and the Atlantic City/Ventnor Boardwalk. It is approximately one mile to the Hilton and Tropicana casinos, and about two miles to Caesar's and The Pier.
Q: Do you have a swimming pool?
A: No. As mentioned above, we are just steps to the ocean.
Q: Do you provide beach tags, beach chairs and umbrellas?
A: We have beach tags for our guests, but please bring your own chairs and umbrellas.
Q: Where do we smoke?
A: All of our rooms are non-smoking, but smoking is allowed on our two communal outside decks.
Q: Do you serve breakfast?
A: Surrey Beach House is not a B&B. Every room includes a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and toaster. Most rooms include a two-burner stovetop. Dishes, glasses and silverware are provided.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We allow small dogs in our one-bedroom King Suites only, which are located on the ground floor and have private entrances. There is a non-refundable charge of $35 per day and dogs must be crated if left unattended.
Q: Is there a laundry facility in the hotel?
A: No. There is a coin laundry less than a five-minute drive from Surrey Beach House.
Q: Where is the best place to park?
A: On Atlantic Avenue (which has no meters).
Q: Where can we charter a boat?
A: In Atlantic City, Longport or Brigantine New Jersey.
