Q: Where is Surrey Beach House located, and what is the surrounding area like?
A: Surrey Beach House is located in the quaint town of Ventnor, New Jersey. It is within walking distance to the New Jersey Shore at 5400 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Q: What outdoor activities are nearby?
A: Boating charters, Atlantic City Cruises, the boardwalk, bike trails, and the beach are close by.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa, and cash.
Q: What are your deposit and cancellation policies?
A: We take one night's deposit at the time of booking, and cancellations must be made at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival, or the deposit will be forfeited.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in hours are from 4pm to 7pm and check-out time is 11am. Early arrivals and late check-outs may be available, but cannot be guaranteed.
Q: Is there a pool?
A: No; however, we are on the beach block & steps away from the Atlantic City boardwalk. We're also about one mile from the Hilton and Tropicana Casinos and about two miles from Caesar's and The Pier.
Q: What's parking like?
A: We recommend parking on Atlantic Avenue which has no meters.
Q: Do you provide beach tags, beach chairs and umbrellas?
A: We have beach tags for our guests, but please bring your own chairs and umbrellas!
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We allow small dogs in our one-bedroom King Suites only, which are located on the ground floor and have private entrances. There is a non-refundable charge of $35 per day and dogs must be crated if left unattended. We ask that you please clean up after your pooch as well.
Q: Where do we smoke?
A: All of our rooms are non-smoking, but smoking is allowed on our two communal outside decks.
Q: Do you serve breakfast?
A: Unfortunately, we do not serve breakfast. Surrey Beach House is not a Bed & Breakfast, although every room includes a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and toaster. Most rooms include a two-burner stovetop. Dishes, glasses, and silverware are also provided.
Q: Is there a laundry facility in the hotel?
A: No, there is however a coin laundry facility less than 5 minutes away.
Q: Where can we charter a boat?
A: In Atlantic City, Longport or Brigantine New Jersey.
